The Final Interview

After completing the video there was a great sound bite by Dr. Don Burns, President of Moncalm Community College that was used. However, it was taken outdoors at a ground breaking ceremony and the little wind noise bothered producer Duane Weed. So after a phone call to Dr. Burns a time was set up to re-shoot the interview at the M-tec Center in Greenville.

United Solar Ovantic Road Trip

United Solar Ovanic Road TripTraveling to Auburn Hills to interview Subhendu Guha the President of United Solar Ovonic was an adventure. On the way Greenville Chamber Co-Executive Directors Candy and Kathy Jo along with Production Team Casey and Duane saw two trucks on their side and the end result of a four-car crash. During the 45-minute wait Duane and Casey grabbed the video and still camera and went to work documenting the scene.

Subhendu Guha nailed the interview in one take giving us multiple sound bites of which to choose from. Thank you Subhendu for your time and allowing us to videotape at your Auburn Hills location.


Due to the confidential process Uni-Solar uses in their technology, we were allowed to videotape in one location. The same location President George W. Bush walked and had photos taken.
